HyenaTech

HyenaTech is a game about Ken, a humanoid hyena, as he goes on a quest to find the items needed to cure a strange zombie plague that is taking over his homeland by the minute. Along the way, he makes new friends as he goes through abandoned labs and fights off monsters that get in his way. The gameplay is similar to old school RPGs such as Dragon Quest and Final Fantasy, complete with three dungeons to explore.

This is a game I made with a friend and initially released back in 2021. It was my first attempt at making lore for Ken (the mascot of my YouTube channel).  It was intended to be a way bigger game, with multiple characters, plotlines, etc. But, due to my limitations at the time, the end result ended up being a really condensed version of the original plot with a lot of cut content and lore details that don’t get elaborated on much. I was originally going to either update the game or remake it entirely, but I ultimately decided against it.  The game isn’t perfect (nor do I consider it “canon” to Ken’s lore now), but it is a neat little piece of RockBandHyena history.
